Requirements Analysis

The Requirements Analysis phase of a project helps determine the specific functional requirements for your system. Interviews are held with executives, managers, supervisors, administrators and users to discuss their specific needs and project goals. Topics of those discussions include:

Data from the interviews is compiled and presented to the client implementation team. Argenta’s consultants will help you make strategic decisions concerning which initiatives are realistic, affordable, viable, and may deliver the best results. We can help develop implementation schedules and set realistic expectations of the product and the project.

Software Installation and Setup

Your CRM solution is installed on the server(s), workstations, and laptops. The administrative setup of users and security is performed and tested.

Training

Training speeds your return on investment by allowing your staff to be productive immediately.  Argenta Systems offers both structured classroom training sessions and one-on-one targeted training. As part of our comprehensive approach to training, we will assemble customized training manuals if needed, using examples and instructions specific to your organization.

Transition Assistance

Classroom training teaches your staff how to navigate and use product features. Often though, when users get back to their work area after training, they forget how to accomplish a certain task, or how what they’ve learned can be applied to their job duties. The solution might be as easy as a right mouse click to bring up a help menu, but it’s human nature to revert back to what’s comfortable, which might be pen and paper, not your new software solution.

Transition Assistance can make the difference between a fast, successful implementation and a slow, painful one. Our trainers come on site and work individually with each user. They help the user gain a comfort level with the software and assist them in redefining their habits and workflow to enable them to be most effective. Through observation of the user in their environment, positive reinforcement is used to show the user it can be done, faster and more effectively than the old ways. User confidence is strengthened, and productivity increases are achieved much more quickly.

Synchronization

For remote users who will be working offline, it is necessary to plan and implement synchronization of information between the central database and the remote user in order for all users to share up-to-date information. During this phase, Argenta will set up the synchronization engine and synchronization profiles and thoroughly test each component. Connectivity options include RAS, VPN, FTP and IP (dependent upon product).

Customization and Design

Based on information gathered during the Requirements Analysis phase, Argenta’s team will tailor and optimize the standard product to meet your company’s unique requirements. Tables and fields are defined and created. Standard screen views and new views are designed to optimize information and work flow. Scripting is utilized where needed for additional functionality.

Data Migration

This phase involves the conversion and import of current customer files, leads, prospects, mailing lists, and other data files. Data is scrubbed to ensure the most accurate starting point. Phone numbers, names, and zip codes are typical fields that need formatting work before importing. Field mapping from imported files and tables is planned and executed. De-duplication of records is performed using standard tools or scripts tailored for your requirements.

Integration

To maximize your technology investment, integration between systems is crucial. By sharing select back office data with your front office team – and vice versa – productivity soars.

During this project phase we will work with your team to plan and execute integration from legacy accounting or other enterprise systems to the CRM solution. Integration can be batch or real-time, one-way or two-way. Third party products are incorporated as appropriate.

Report Writing

Reports are often cited as the single most important element in a business management solution. The ability to analyze data from multiple angles gives you the power to make informed business decisions.

Argenta’s consultants will work with you to identify your reporting needs – needs which may be met with the software’s standard reports or through customization using industry standard report writing tools such as Crystal.

On-Going Support and Assistance
